Kashmir to 2020 me connectivity hogi aur jat b 3 pf ke saath more than 80 trains ko handle krta h, aur katra pe pf1 pe side me 500-600 mtrs ka extra pf h jaha locos or kuch wagons khade rhte h, might be reason is also this that there is shortage of staffs and employees etc..
Srinagar trains shall be there after at least 5 years. Meanwhile, more trains can be extended to Katra, and some of them may be extended to Srinagar later on.
Katra with annual pilgrimage count of around 1 crore shall be a major destination and not all trains need to be extended to Srinagar.
Long distance trains from other parts of country may terminate at 3 major stations of J&K i.e. Srinagar, Katra & Jammu in percentage of about 40-50%, 20-40%, 20-40% respectively in long run, say after 10 yrs of commissioning of...

Fir bhi yard Katra ka aur big plan karna chahiye tha.
Jyadatar train Baramula me terminate hogi..as it will be last station.
