Bangalore city there is no chance for an electric loco shed as there is no place in Bangalore they can allocate the electric loco shed in Bidadi,Kengeri or Mysore(after electrifcation is complete) or SWR can ask SCR,SR,CR or ECoR to lend some locos and hopefully start suburban trains to MYA.
All long distance trains going to MYS for cleaning have lot of slack time between YNK/ kjm and SBC. Why can't they do the engine change at these places so that trains can move out of SBC platforms faster? More time at platforms create its own set of complications.
Because there are no electric trip sheds in ynk and kjm and also ynk and kjm have more rail traffic than SBC it also acts as bypass stations for north India bound trains coming in from Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Hereafter DLS also will accommodate E loco and ELS will accommodate D loco .
Now Gonda DLS has been allocated with a WAG 7. So even KJM may house E loco once OHE works are completed in KJM shed . As of now Erode and Royapuram are taking care of SWR need, they will be continuing the same.
