From above, it is very clear that Railways is distinctly the most notorious department.
And this problem needs to be arrested on priority, if IR is to get out of the existing troubles.
Simply empowering the Employees/Management of finding new and strange ways of revenue augmentation is not a solution.
But stricter control is required to put an end to the myriad of corrupt practices prevailing in Railways.
Much more efficient utilisation of the scarce resources available is need of the hour.
