The article suggests full occupancy for the first 3 days for the CBE-BNC Vande Bharath. Assuming it was post new year rush.
The tickets availability in IRCTC for the next few days gives a diff picture. Lots of seats available in both Uday express and VB.

Both Coimbatore Benguluru VB and Uday have 50% occupancy today. Even of VB I'd not they will be availability of 175 in Uday. Capacity of Uday 800 while VB is 470 seats.
