Sapt Kranti Express: Ruling the tracks with EMD Power - Keshav Singh

The Indian Railways has approved a new express train connecting Kollam and Tirupati. The Kollam-Tirupati-Kollam bi-weekly express train will be flagged off on March 12th by the Prime Minister through online mode. The train will depart from Tirupati at 2:40 PM and reach Kollam at 6:20 AM the next day. The return journey from Kollam at 10 PM will arrive in Tirupati at 3:20 AM the next day. The train will have stops at Chittoor, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayamkulam, Changanassery, and Mavelikkara. MP NK Premachandran welcomed the decision to introduce the service to Tirupati.
