There is no reason to be unnecessarily sarcastic about anything here. There are no barn doors or horses here. All our regular trains are well-vetted by our members/monitors. There is NO (and never was) such regular train on our site, as mentioned in the article.

site for members to upload their own TTs to experiment with. And yes, almost ANY TT can be uploaded there. Deleting or not deleting any trains there (whether or not they are called horses within barn doors or otherwise) would make NO difference. Such trains are CLEARLY MARKED so that there is no confusion. Such trains also do NOT APPEAR in ANY search - either within the site or on Google, Bing and other search engines. However, if any sections of such imaginary trains are explicitly and selectively copy/pasted, modified and spread on Facebook or WhatsApp, then we are unable to do anything about it.

It is for FaceBook/WhatsApp which have spread like a malignant cancer amongst our society, to stop the spate of fake news throughout the world. Also, due to the above-mentioned sites, people have become habituated to half-digest the information presented to them, jump to conclusions and spread it to others.

Anyhow, at IRI, we have taken the opposite course. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy, but there is good faith and diligence in updating correct info. Mischief-mongers are NOT allowed to deliberately spread false information in IRI - unlike in Facebook/WhatsApp. Also, unlike other social media, we actively encourage our members to prioritize their real life and take a break from IRI. We do what we can, but this remains a small website in a corner of the internet.
