Were the people told the likely fare of the HSTs?
Every body will appreciate faster, safer, comfortable, & esthetic HSTs, but how many shall be able to pay its astronomically high fare is actually the deciding factor which shall decide the fate of the HST.
For HSTs to be any where near recovering the cost, the traffic of much higher than 1 lac per day is required, which even Mum-AHM may not be able to attract.

It is tough to materialise in Kerala. Land acquisition is not at all easy. Lot of objections for the projects are exisitng, especially from those who will lose the land.
