Salegaon should be a village in Orissa coal deposit area, where from IR shall evacuate the coal to the paradip port, and not in a far off Maharashtra.
At an estimate of Rs 3298/- crore this line should be much lesser (less than 300kms) than at least 600 km needed to reach any town of Maharashtra.
However the project is definitely on the cards
