this end, it has been decided to convert the existing railway station facade building into a three storey railway station building. Madurai Divisional Railway Manager Padmanabhan Anand inspected the Rameswaram railway station today.

Ernakulam is the only train that runs from Kerala to Rameshwaram. The service is through Palakkad, Palani and Madurai.
The demand for daily service is required in this sector. Those who are going to Madurai from Cochin will now have to rely on the Guruvayoor Chennai Express at 11.45 pm. The train which leaves Ernakulam at 11.45 pm will reach Madurai at 11:15 hrs on the afternoon through Tirunelveli. On the other hand, Rameshwaram train will leave at 11 pm and reach Madurai at 8.10 am.
