Improvements to circulating areas, pedestrian pathways, and telecom installations are also in progress. The redevelopment is expected to be completed by September 2024. Two upcoming IRCTC tour programs were also announced: Ayodhya-Kashi: Punya Kshetra Yatra and Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand Yatra. The Ayodhya-Kashi tour will commence on July 9th, 2024, from Secunderabad, covering sites like Gaya, Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Prayagraj. The Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand Yatra has two departures: one from Visakhapatnam on July 26th, 2024, and another from Secunderabad on August 8th, 2024. Trains to run with Existing Numbers

The Railway Board has withdrawn the renumbering of passenger train services that was scheduled to take effect on July 1, 2024. Passenger trains will continue to operate with their current numbers until further notice. This decision was made based on Press Release No. 193 dated June 10, 2024.
