it is travellng from A to C via B in one ticket,ie., breaking up journey in single ticket.
Is it similar to Tour Ticket? Or For example, if I need to travel between Mumbai & Nagpur, i can book a telescopic ticket like - Mumbai to Itarsi and another Itarsi to Nagpur.
yes, you can book about 15 tickets.. for that you first need to get your itinerary approved by Head Reservation Clerk.

Just distance should be minimum is the only condition.
For example, once I was looking for Ahmedabad to Banda via Jabalpur. But the telescopic was not approved as the shortest distance is via Bina.
So you just have to take care of this one thing.
