Howrah carshed's latest Medha rake (DTC : 228249 & 228250) which was flagged off yesterday is working as Tarakeswar-Howrah Local.
The rake lacks the forced ventilation system. #emuER

Previously such 4 or 6 Car services were operated on the Bimanbandar-Circular Railway & Tarakeswar-Arambagh sections respectively about 10 years ago. Such mini-rakes were again operated during the 1st phase of Lockdown and one can expect not to see them again!
