There ain't no room for building a new bridge between DAKE & BLYG. Swami Vivekananda Bridge/Willingdon Bridge/Bally Bridge is still kickin' it at 95 years old. By 2029, this badass bridge will be hittin' the century mark and surpassing its expected lifespan according to Indian Railways. Construction on this bad boy started in 1925 and it was open for business by 1929, servicing both rail and road traffic.

First look at the badass LHB Kanchankanya Express at Dakshineswar. 37103 Kanpur WAP7 (Rocking Medha propulsion and full-on Medha HOG installed) is running the show.

There's gonna be a late-night metro service for KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) home games in Kolkata.

- Just on the blue line, one train from Esplanade will head to Dakshineswar & Kavi Subhash.

- Tickets will only be available at Esplanade, but the trains will stop at every station.
