These are some of the pictures which I took. It is the Naihati bypass line, which helps (predominantly) freight avoid reversal at Naihati. The line arises just near Garifa (towards Naihati) and joins the Ranaghat line. I don't know whether a lot of freight use this bypass, but I had seen freight once or twice and they are strangled for hours before they actually get clearance.1. &2. The single bypass line towards Halisahar.3.Double line towards Garifa4. Double line meets the single line.
