The following changes will come into effect in the New Regional Railway Public Time Table from 01st October, 2015.
Change in time of 56205 (NTW - MYS Passenger) is a disappointment. 56025 was acting as a connecting train to 12613 (Tippu Express to SBC, which departs @ 11:15 AM). Now, we have 5 minutes gap between arrival of 56205 and departure of 12613......
Ministry of Railways has decided to upwardly revise the rate of Platform ticket to Rs. 10/- per ticket from Rs. 5/- per ticket. The revised rate of Platform ticket will be charged on Platform tickets to be issued from 01st April, 2015.
The Railway Board has decided to delegate thepowerto Divisional Railway Manager to increase the rate of Platform tickets beyond Rs.10/- to regulate rush at Platforms during specific requirements like melas, rallies, etc., under intimation to Railway Board.
Railway should not allow out side food sale and local products in a train (Junk Food) Because of that station cannot keep clean. If people want to sale in a train or station for them make some rules about cleanliness. Keep one or two Dustbin in every compartment.

Near Yeshwantour on Outer-Ring-Road
All are talking about the number of trains but no one is talking abt the Quota available??
What is it that you feel needs to be done????Increase trains or increase infrastructure....
Leaving Coastal connectivity to hinterland apart, other connectivity is fine. What all additional things you want????
Which "other connectivity" is fine in Karnataka? I want to make a circular trip with following places: Bengaluru-Belur/ Halebeedu - Sringeri-Jog Falls- Belagavi-Bagalakote-Basavakalyana-Bidar-Mantralaya -Hosapete- Chitradurga-Bengaluru. I want to go to Dharmasthala/ Subrahmanya also, but since they come under HMRDA area, and also that Shiradi Ghat is blocked, I avoided visiting them for now.
I want to travel by train wherever rly lines are there. I find Hassan as nearest stn for Belur/ Halebeedu, Chikkamagaluru for Shringeri, Talaguppa for Jog, Bhalki for Basavakalyana as nearest stns.I can afford bus travel to these destinations, from nearest rly stns. For other locations, we have rly stns, so I want to utilise the rly services to make myself comfortable.
