SANGRUR : The electrification work on 123-km-long ‘Jakhal-Lehragaga-Sunam-Sangrur-Dhuri-Malerkotla-Ludhiana’ railway section will begin soon. The project that is to cost Rs 126 crore will be completed in two years. Sangrur Member of Parliament (MP) Vijay Inder Singla said the foundation stone of the project would be laid on November 17. Besides, signaling system and token-less facility would also be installed at a cost of Rs 50 crore, he said.
SANGRUR : Member of Rajya Sabha Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa on Friday inaugurated a road over bridge (ROB) over the railway level crossing in Churral Kalan village in Lehragaga. The ROB was built at a cost of Rs 20 crore.
