Darjeeling Mail likely to change route by year end
DRM HWH Dr. R Badrinarayan promised to strengthen railway connectivity in it's home state of West Bengal. Only Howrah and it's suburban stations are well connected while others have no proper direct connectivity. There is no smooth connectivity between South Bengal stations like Kharagpur, Asansol, Purulia, Adra, Medinipur and Bankura with North Bengal ones like Malda Town, Jalpaiguri, Coach-Behar, Siliguri etc. A proposal has been sent to the board to look into the matter.
Special trains will be plying soon between these stations. Reviewing the demand, further actions will be taken.
A pregnant woman in West Bengal's Malda district was allegedly thrown off a moving train on Tuesday, according to a report in The Indian Express. The 36-year-old victim, who lost her right hand and is fighting for her life after the incident, was travelling with her alleged boyfriend when bystanders heard a loud scream.
On reaching the spot, railways officials and police found the woman lying on the tracks and bleeding profusely. She was later admitted to Malda Medical College in a critical condition.
The victim's family filed a police complaint against Ashim
Now the culprit should be un-divorcably married to jail instead of marrying his pregnant GF!
