No railway Minister can solve the problems I'm a year or 2 as the demand is not forecasted 25yrs back when they started reforms in 1991.
1. 10,000km of GQ and East west, North South tracks should have third line and 130kmph TT for running all LHB rakes on paper.
2. 150 new rakes or 3000 new coaches required to increase...
more... the carrying capacity of existing non daily trains by frequency increase. Rake if mixed composition with 10AC and 10 Non AC.
3. 150 new rakes intercity 200-400km Vande Metro
4. 450 new Amrit Bharat rakes fir SL and GS travel.
5. 200 Vande Sleeper rakes for high speed ling distance travel.
All these require atleast 5years and by that time the demand will surpass the supply of berths and people will still travel by flight, road - bus and personal cab and train.
please wait...Translate to EnglishNo railway boss can fix the issues in a year or two 'cause they didn't predict the demand 25 years ago when they started changing stuff in '91.
1. They need to add a third line and make the tracks 130kmph fast for about 10,000km of GQ and E-W, N-S routes to run all fancy LHB trains as per the plan.
2. Gotta get 150 new trains or 3000 new coaches to fit more peeps in the existing trains by running them more often. Coaches should have 10AC and 10 Non-AC seats.
3. Need 150 new trains for 200-400km routes, like super-fast electric trains or something.
4. Gotta bring in 450 new Amrit Bharat trains for SL and GS sections.
5. Also need 200 comfy sleeper trains for long-distance travel at high speeds.
But all this needs like 5 years at least, and by that time, there will be more demand than capacity, so peeps will still choose to fly, take a bus, or drive their own car.
