Instead of all the trains routed via circuitous route via Coimbatore Junction with additional distance, additional fares increases and additional travel time involved.So develop Podanur Junction and Irugur Junction as second and third Terminal for Coimbatore City and operate circular trains on both direction of Irugur-Podanur-Coimbatore City Junction-Coimbatore North Junction-Irugur for the benefit of entire Coimbatore City and sub-urban areas.

i agree it is not safe during night. but PODANUR should be developed as SECOND TERMINAL and it should provided with bus facilities , COACH MAINTAINING YARDS TOO.

once POY-PTJ GC is over PTJ has to handle many LOCO REVERSALS.
