Thivim is a popular gateway for tourists looking for sun and sand.
Retiring Room Facility Has Been Available On Platform No 1. Passengers Can Reserve The Rooms On Konkan Railways Website As Well As On Ticket Booking Counter.
Station is located on Mapusa - Valpoi road. Frequent KTCL & private buses are available towards Panaji, Mapusa, Bicholim, Sankhali & Valpoi. You can also get direct KTCL & KSRTC buses to Belgavi (via Chorla) from the road. Taxi and Rickshaw are also available throughout. It is the best station to get down who wants to visit north Goas beaches like Baga, Calangute, Vagator, Candoli & so on.
