Platforms --
▪️Yo, there are 3 platforms here. 1, 1A & 2. 2 is like the shorty version. 1A is towards the CBE end of platform 2.
▪️The Nilgiri Express always goes to platform 1, along with the TEN Special. The Nilgiri Express gets moved next to Pf 1.
▪️So them MEMUs chill on platform 1. The TEN Special doesn't get moved and stays put on 1. So the MEMUs go to pf 1A.
▪️The Mettupalaym - Udagamandalam Passenger always goes to platform 2.

Food --

There's a Railway Canteen between platforms 1 & 2. The food tastes hella good, you gotta try it out.

Railfanning ---

You can go to the Steam Loco Shed right next to the station. There were like 5 locos there. Also, there were around 30-35 hella dope MG coaches at the Coaching Depot.
Also, you can check out the Railway Museum which is right between the Steam Loco Shed and the Station.

The bus stand is like 500m away from the station, where plenty of buses go to Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Coonoor, Ooty & Mysuru.
If you wanna rent a car to Coonoor/Ooty, you can do it, just gotta haggle with them.

They got a Cloak Room if you need it.

The train from MTP to ONR takes like 3.30 hrs but by road you can reach in an hour. If you're traveling by road from MTP to ONR, get ready to capture some sick shots on the left side of the road.
