Once u exit from main entrance just walk towards main road(Pondicherry road) and cross the road. Lot of share autos and local town bus available to reach Villupuram new bus stand. It will take only 5 minutes travel time . From Villupuram new bus stand frequent bus service towards Chennai, Madurai,Tiruchi,Pondicherry and Tiruvannamalai available.
This station has a big parking space, if you come to send off your relatives you have more place for parking your car are bike.
The IRCTC meals was really super, especially the spinach sabji, was awesome.

One vendor will be selling Rava upma topped with Sambar , Which will be fresh , hot and tasty , during night time he will be available on PF4 , 20RS. for each plate . Worth trying :)
One of the Worst and Rogue station in SR . Water bottles / Food items / Biscuits and every items are sold very much higher than MRP . When u ask about MRP , the vendors , static unit shopkeepers abuse u like anything . . . SR is calm about this station's food / water facility complaints . . .
Rail Neer not available and hence 20 Rs....!!! Passengers do not have time to wait and log a complaint. Forcefully if we need we have to buy.
NEVER Buy Foods From' FOOD Outlet AT PF 4. They ARE ROTTEN MOST OF THE Time. Only Few TUBELIGHTES Are THERE IN PF NO 4. NO PORTER, A LOT OF MOSQUITOS WILL WELCOME U AFTER DARK. NO Announcement Till 5 MINUTES Before TRAIN Arrival. ONLY ON PF 1 THERE IS AN ELECTRONIC Display BOARD. IF U WANT TO Catch A Connecting Train AND YOUR TRAIN Arrive ON PF OTHER Than 1, U Have TO GO PF 1 TO Know THE PF NO OF Your Connecting Train. TRY TO Avoid This Station After Dark.
