iyerjiteshp 475 blog postsTrain often arrives ahead of time and is held up for 30-45 minutes on outskirts of NZM station for want of platform. If train halts at Okhla, you may alight and take the Metro (Violet Line) to Nehru Place/ Central Secretariat for onward journey, and save a good hour or so.

soumitra.chawathe^~ 34403 blog postsOne of the most popular SF Intercity trains to go from PUNE-SUR. The train runs absolutely jam packed 365 days a year. The train has Rake Sharing with Indrayani Express (which has a halt at Shivajainagar). There is a huge rush at Pune Station to board this train, since 22105 Indrayani changes its avatar and runs as SUR Intercity within 20 mins. Hence boarding the train with elderly people, children, ladies can be difficult due to rush, especially in 2S class.

TTEs are not seen on days except Fridays and Sundays. Hence, RAC quota allotment is difficult. Most of the passengers in this train disembark at Ernakulam.
Advice to passengers: Passengers with legitimate ticket may not be able to get into the train at KJM due to the heavy rush at KJM. Most of the people who embark from KJM are office goers who get down at BWT. Hence passengers with reserved tickets are advised to board from either SBC or BNC.

You just purchase a General Unreserved Ticket & board this train, as this train's Unreserved coaches are almost empty, plus if your destination is in Navi Mumbai or in Western suburbs of Mumbai then just alight at Panvel/Vasai.Rd.
Try to board the General coaches which are in front side just after Engine & SLR, you can then happily enjoy your trip.
