Possible to extend to PDY but has to be bought back 40km to VPM for maintainance.
Extension is possible only if PM shifted to Kharagpur and Adra. If PM shifted then this train can be extended till Puducherry or till Tiruchirapally also. With ER, PM could be shifted but not with SER. SER happy to give PM to other zones and reduce its expenses. In ER, Godda-NDLS HS gets PM at BGP, Jasidih-Tambaram exp gets PM at ASN, in both cases empty rake travel lond distance to get PM still PM of rakes is done by ER including these empty rake travel expenditure. On the other hand in SER, KGP-VM, HLZ-ANVT, DGHA-VSKP, etc, etc gets PM in other respective zones, SER do not want to take them.
