Ideally, this intercity should have 2S ACC coaches but since NDLS wanted to clear that lie over of Shram Shakti it got SL 3E 3A 2A 1A.
Something NZM/NDLS should have planned like RSA with any ICE/JS of NDLS/NZM or any RSA with 12059/60 KOTA NZM JS by providing an extra rake and for Shram Shakti is RSA with any other NDLS originating train possible?

This is basically Shram Shakti Express,right that is sent to Kota for a day journey due to I assume, lack of yard space at NDLS. Because for a journey of this duration, packing it full of SL, 3A,2A,1A is terribly un optimized. People would also prefer sitting style options, like CC, which are cheaper as well. But I guess that is not possible because it is just a leftover train after it's main RSA partner Shram Shakti Express.

There was a Yuva Express running b/w HWH-DLI that had 10 sitting overnight chair car coaches. It is cancelled. The closest current day alternative is Bombay - Delhi Yuva Express which has 6 CC but is only weekly. IR recently ran an overnight train from Lucknow via Sitapur line [now BG] that went daytime in one direction and night time in another. It was a weird mismash of 2S+CC+SL+3A.

Bhai yahan to Sogariya Intercity ke halat ye Hain ki 3E ke lagbhag saare coach ekdum Khali rehte hain...min base fare 555 chahe distance 50 Kms ka hi ho kaun jayega isme.Sleeper ki halat fir bhi theek hai par Sleeper 5 ho gye hain ab.
It could have been easily extended towards Punjab , say for example towards Ludhiana via ROK. But IR chose Kota which actually requires a premium morning VB connection
I wonder why it wasn't just combined as Kota - Kanpur Express. Sure, it takes longer than Kota - Patna but combining might increase passenger occupancy for NDLS-KOTA leg. I think they didn't do it because that might compromise the number of vacant seats available in NDLS-CNB segment.
It's somewhat similar for GKP-Mailani Express as well. That train, despite being combined in one, essentially serves as an overnight train for passengers lying on loop line towards Gorakhpur. It empties at Lucknow and GN/SL coaches are filled with day passengers bound for Sitapur and beyond. The 3A coaches are mostly empty with only a few proper reserved passengers from before LJN.

dheerajind1 235 blog posts20451 ka Sogariya se departure time 20 mins early kar dena chahiye.. abhi ye 4:20 pm chalti hai jiske karan Kota Jn se 4:30/4:35 pm chalne wali weekly trains hamesha late hoti h.

Well, this is ideally a perfectly safe chain. 20451 is quite punctual and 1 hr buffer should be safe enough. But you never know, what if it gets delayed only on that particular day of your journey due to some reason ? It'd be very silly to miss your train due to blind trust in IR's punctuality 😂
It's totally safe bt if u booked ticket in NANDA DEVI AC exp from Kota then it have gived you some buffer time at Delhi... Anyway this train will also help u to catch PSK SF

Hi Folks, this is the final part of my TAMILNADU SUPERFAST EXPRESS Journey. So, for those who have missed the first two part, links have been given with this post.
