Then a train from JAT to CAPE via HWH VSKP BZA KCG SBC SRR MDU NCJ CAPE will run successfull all thtoughout the year that doesn't mean its useful for JAT pax or you should ask for Drnt.

Then y MS-GUV is running in long route is it Suited for END-END, there are many trains running little long route, and making good revenue
dont think that there are only fools in IR,
if u need only end to end passenger to use then it seems u req only Non stop like duranto.

You can check how many trains are there from MAS to TVC/ALLP areas and how many trains are there from SBC to MAQ. If there are good number of trains, then they can experiment in this route.

Yes, even I have heard that railways have as of now said no to the creation of further new zones. But at the same time, there was a news article that for the creation of a zone, three divisions must be present in the zone, hence Kerala is pushing for a Coastal zone with divisional headquarters at Mangalore. Thus it will have 3 divisions:Palghat, Trivandrum and Mangalore....if this is realised, i think it would be a win-win propostion for coastal Karnataka and entire Kerala.

Palghat division's revenue completely depends on Mangalore and if Mangalore gets a division, then Palghat again struggles to hold on as a division.. Hence it looks unlikely atleast for now.

These days lot of discussions on Mangalore bound trains fm Bangalore & Hyderabad.OMG what a response fm all of the Rfs.Here i have derived a solution for this problem.
Iam proposing a train fm Mangalore which will run 6 days a week.
1)Mangalore-Mysore/Arsikere-Bangalore-Kacheguda 3 days a week.
2)Mangalore-Mysore/Arsikere-Bangalore-Chennai 3 days a week.

this purpose i have attached the following maps:
map1:07606 KCG-MAQ Spl
map2:KCG-MAQ via SBC,ASK.
map3:MAS-MAQ via KPD,CBE,PGT.
map4:MAS-MAQ via SBC,ASK.
map5:MAS-MAQ via SBC,MYS.
map6:16565 YPR-MAQ.
1)Mangalore-Mysore/Arsikere-Bangalore-Kacheguda 3 days a week:
07606 KCG-RU-KPD-CBE-PGT-CAN-MAQ=1529 kms,travel time=30hours.
KCG-GY-DMM-SBC-ASK-HAS-MAQ=1071kms,traveltime=22ho urs.
KCG-GY-DMM-SBC-MYS-HAS-MAQ=1134kms,traveltime=24ho urs.
So the proposed KGC-SBC-MAQ route was differing by 458kms,8hours less journey in case of ASk-HAS route,difference is 400kms,6hours less journey in case of MYS-HAS route when compared to the 07606 spl.

Dharmavaram 17:45
Bangalore City 22:00
Arsikere 01:00
Hassan 01:50
Mangalore Central 07:30
Via Mysore

MAS-JTJ-SBC-MYS-HAS-MAQ=870kms,traveltime=18 hours.

So,the proposed train's performance is greater than 16107 MS-Mangalore Exp and is equal to 12601 Mangalore mail.Currently there r 5 daily trains fm Chennai to Mangalore of them 3 r taking KPD-SA-CBE-PGT-CLT-CAN route & remaining 2 r taking VM,TPJ,CBE,ED,PGT,CLT,CAN route.SR can atleast would have thought of the proposed route,it can atleast have introduced one weekly train via SBC,MYS/ASK all the MAS-MAQ trains r covering entire Tamilnadu & little bit Kerala no Karnataka(only destination in karnataka) in these ones.
Whats the speciality of MAS-SBC-MAQ route is that the locus of the points of Chennai,Bangalore & Mangalore forms a straight line.i.e.,The Bangalore is at the origin,Chennai is a point on the positive X-Axis & Mangalore is a point on the negative X-Axis.Bangalore=(0,0),Chennai=(360,0),Mangalore=( -448,0).You can observe these one clearly fm the maps.Similarly for the Eqn1 Bangalore is at Origin,Kacheguda is a point on the Positive Y-Axis & Mangalore is a point on the negative X-Axis.i.e., Bangalore=(0,0),Kacheguda=(0,625),Mangalore=(-448, 0)
Here i have shooted totally 12 birds with one shot.This train will fully resolves the problem of Mangalore connectivity to Bangalore & Hyderabad.Moreover Mysore/Arsikere/Hassan will get connected to Hyderabad & Chennai.
This train will have the same time slot fm Bangalore to Mangalore.

KCG-GTL-UBL-CLR-MAO-UDUPI-MAQ is 1262kms. i agree, but travel time is not 24hours u have calculated as KCG-MAO is 842kms with travel time 16.55. but from MAO-MAQ if its SF with limited stop KAWR/UDUPI is enough that takes 5hours only. All together it will take 22hours only

Not a bad idea...but Hassan - Mysore is just 2-3 hours journey and any changing train will be of much use than running a separate train. A train to Mangalore will be much more useful for tourist purpose too.

To clear xtra rush of passengers the following special trains will run between Yesvantpur & mangalore.06565 will dep fm YPR on Sundays @ 23:55 reach Mangalore @ 17:40 on monday will dep MAQ on monday @ 20:00 to reach YPR on tuesday @ 13:30.Train will run via KRpuram,Bangarpet,Kuppam,Salem,Erode,Tiruppur,Coimbatore,Palakkad,Shoranur,Kozhikode,Vadakara,Thalassery,Kannur,Kasargod.

I think the route can be changed.In any case i dont think people hardly know of such a train being running as special train. As of now neither is it serving people of karnataka and kerala. The timings and days of operation also needs to change
