Slack time between ANR and ADRA is quite high. Train running on right time will simply arrive at Adra before 19 hrs. As it's a passenger primarily so no offence.
Why it takes 1:10 minutes to cover a tiny distance between Namkom to Ranchi
MEMU arrives 30 mins to an hour early at Ranchi regularly and runs behind 63598/Asansol Ranchi MEMU. Amongst unique trains in SER whose services are of Express type but fare is of Passenger.

Glad to see it has automated in-train announcement system and toilets in trailer coaches. Only downside is it's punctuality now a days have shown signs of struggle. Hope it improves.

Inaugural MEMU Run:Kharghapur-Ranchi MEMU
Inaugural MEMU Run of 68085 Kharghapur Ranchi MEMU.Extended Portion of 58163/64 Garbeta Ranchi Passenger and converted from ICF Rake to 12 CAR MEMU RAKE. Pre toilet installed and this train is first galloping memu in KGP-ADRA Stretch.Please do Subscribe ,like share and comment!!

68085 Kharagpur-Garbeta-Ranchi MEMU Passenger leaving Kharagpur at 04.45 hrs, will reach Garbeta at 05.53 hrs and depart at 05.55 hrs. The train will reach Ranchi at 13.00 hrs. In the return direction, 68086 Ranchi-Garbeta-Kharagpur MEMU Passenger leaving Ranchi at 15.22 hrs will arrive Garbeta at 21.15 hrs and will depart at 21.17 hrs. The train will arrive Kharagpur at 22.45 hrs. In the extended portion between Garbeta and Kharagpur, the train will stop at Chandrakona Road, Salboni, Midnapur and Giri Maidan stations.
Here goes my very raw analysis:
1. This MEMU will be running ahead and behind 58017/18 KGP-ASN-KGP PGR respectively. So chances of demand for additional halt is low.
2. A. In UP direction(68085), it is faster than Purushottam between KGP and PRR. If you miss Puru at Hijili, you can afford to reach KGP and travel till PRR to try your second luck. If Puru is late even by 5 mins, you will get it. MEMU's TT can be optimised to arrive PRR by 08:20 Hrs. Well, still if you miss you can...
