Wish SR extended 16307/8 to TVC instead of idling this full rake fit to run a new, daily Intercity Express service(ERS - SA or something similar) at CAN, just to maintain RSA amongst 16303/4/5/6/7/8.
If they shift PM of 16303/4/5/6/7/8 rakes(total 4; but can be managed with 3, if shifted) to ERM, train reaching TVC as 16303 can return as Executive Express to CAN; And Executive Express reaching TVC can go back to ERS as Vanchinad Express.

Even before suggesting TVC will point out that ERM pitlines are full at night. Incidentally, the construction of a 3rd pitline is almost 95% complete; but hardly any 'intent' to complete it & go operational!

They're still clinging on to that 30 minutes of additional slack time granted (as a temporary measure to improve punctuality) between penultimate halt & destination.
From 01/07/2019, 16630 has been speeded up by 5 minutes & is scheduled to arrive TVC at 0935.
Incidentally, existing(and there's no change to it) timing of 56715 at TVC i s 0915/0920.

So what exactly is the correct timing of 16630 at TVC?
Originally Malabar was scheduled to reach TVC by 0910; they added 30 minutes 'grace slack' & made it 0940, knowing well that Malabar will always reach TVC before that(BTW, it's timing @ TVP is still 0840).
This is a sample of how TVC operates its trains!!
