RailFanning during my recent visit to GIR National park and sanctuary in Junagadh.
Pics depict the Station-Board of SASANGIR railway station and the inside view of the Station master's office which i somehow managed to capture without getting noticed by the personnels present there :P (view in large) Astonishingly I found that this station still issues those conventional cardboard tickets to the passengers...!!
The video is of the VERAVAL DELWADA PASS approaching the SASANGIR station!! hope you all enjoy the rare video upload of a meter-gauged train on...

sir what is the machine that is just in front, on the wall??? Depicting the train status and position i suppose.. ??
Sir I live in Vadodara, from here I first took the 19129(BRC ADI IC EXP) to ADI after which i got into 19221(ADI VERAVAL SOMNATH EXP) upto Veraval.
From veraval, GIR is just about 45 kms and you would easily get Rickshaws and Taxies from the Station uptill Sasan Gir.
In Gir there is a govt Guest-House named "SINH SADAN" (reasonable and excellent) and info of which you will easily find on the travel-guiding sites(makemytrip,etc.)!
