Happy Birthday to Steel, Rupashi and Aranyak SF Express!🎂🎂🎂🎉🎉
Golden Jubilee of Steel: The first train to connect the two largest cities of two states in Eastern India. Initially, this train transported finished products along with passengers for which officials named it "Steel". Later, the growing demand upgraded it's stance to fully commercial service. Till date, this is the most successful and prioritised intercity train of present SER. It has been growing a strong RF community ever since it's introduction.

then Rly. Minister, to connect the Jungle Mahal region to their state capital during day Hotel hours. Initially, Rupashi Bangla was planned to run via Bardhaman by Eastern Zone. However, due to conflict of slots with Ranchi Shatabdi in down direction between Asansol and Howrah the train was handed over to South Eastern Zone. This has the 2nd highest end to end intercity occupancy after Steel Express within SER.
*Speed Star Aranyak*: Aranyak and Rupashi were inaugurated together. During 1st few years of service, Aranyak ran till Bankura. Later, to promote popularity it was extended to Adra. To serve STPS township, again a extension to Santaldih was made before finally making it to Bhojudih. Adra division had proposed for a permanent extension of it till Bokaro Steel City to which the board has not stated any clarification. Aranyak is known as speed star among locals for it's strict timetable and good record of punctuality. It's the most preferred choice among tourists.
