Chandigarh Delhi highway par jab dekho kuch na kuch work laga rehta hai (flyover, medians etc) and the volume of traffic is huge resulting in atleast a 5 hour road journey. Tolls are also quite high Trains are doing Chandigarh Delhi in 4 hours or even lesser, so now trains are becoming a priority in this section.
yes.. Delhi Punjab axis always had good train patronage because trains are faster and cheaper on this route.
Delhi-Chandigarh VB is doing under 3 hours..
Volvo takes more than 5 hours.. by car its 4.5 hours atleast..
Trains are more convenient in this case..

Brother ek dum se nhi hua hai its been a while, people who travel or people who are from Chandigarh knows this facts!
Agree,delhi-panipat stretch and derabassi-cdg stretch are full of traffic every time.
Volvo buses too take much time.
Ordinary buses take four and half hours for Ambala Cantt and volvo takes about 4 hours.
VB takes 2 hours 10 min and Shatabdi and sampark kranti takes less than three hours for umb.

As IRTTC 2023 is not disclosed yet, so it May be demand of Ambala Division in irttc 2023.
In that case,Jammu Rajdhani May get stoppage at Ambala Cantt because Ambala Division is demanding it in some previous irttc

They should also extend 14505/06 also to Daulatpur Chowk. It will cater too much passengers of Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana to Una, Amb Andaura and Daulatpur Chowk.
Agree, passengers can reach chintpurni mata,kangra wali(brijeshwari mata) temples easily.
Also 1ac chair car and 2 second sitting should be added to asr-nldm exp by ambala division
