A Trip report for 16858 MAQ PDY EXP
GOC WDP4B 40063 SHF Mode is leading us.....Our seat/berth was MB,UB,SUB...i sat on SUB seat was WS and its track sided so i decided to sit till SRR.....We reached MAQ on 4PM ,decided to spot loco link of MAQ MAS SF EXP it is HOG RPM WAP7 Due to RPF didnt able to take pic...its UR was Jampacked and both EOG was in Anto livery.....it departed 10 mins late due to a technical issue from PF1....then our rake came at PF2 took a pic our UR was free enough.... Departed Bang on time 5.05PM, post Nethravathi River,WDP4B decided to go to next level of 110 MPS which i didnt expect!!! From Uppala 1 min...

halt on all stopages started till Kanhangad due to trolling of 56656 MAQ CAN Pass in between saw a CBC rake of Tourism rake at Kasaragod....then finally we Brutally OTed the troller at 110 MPS at Kanhangad...then had some TSRs and Xings at MPS and reached CAN, actually took video from MAQ to CAN....At CAN saw KCVL LTT GR its CC was heavily crowded....post CAN MPS Xings happened...and reached CLT where the SLB pax came and our coach got full except the LB...Had dinner and continued to sit till SRR...then at Patambi we xed tvc can js witj WAP7...only mid lamp in ON
Side blue light was OFF donno y!!!...then we arrived SRR also caught up MAQ MAS LHB SF EXP...thus covering 278kms in just 4.15hrs mostly went at 110!!! My unforgettable moment diesel at 110,also my First time experience....12686 departed after few mins after we arrive...
Departed SRR after a 20mins halt...really gud halt after a massive SF run...and continued to hit 110....but we had tsr if 35/40 on 2 km either sides of manakara stn....after it 110 action again started and reached PGT once again Caught up 12686....thus WDP4B furiously chased WAP7
Same scenario continued 12686 departed after a min when we arrive....frm PGT there was huge line up CAN YPR,ISLAND,12624,12686 so we departed PGT after a 30min halt also due to strong line up we got trolled halted at kottegadu,kanjekodu outer at 10-15mins and at Kanjekodu at 20mins then we approached the ghats at 60 and entered the ghats at 45 and in mid of ghat area we went at 20 and excited the ghats at 45 and continued 60 at land due as those area has Elephant Xing....then from Madukarai to PTJ we went at 90 and arrived CBE..... Observed a thing at CBE some pax from MAQ/CAN/CLT deboarded also equal pax boarded at CBE though its untime.....so one can understand this train has excellent weekly response patro is spitted as

Thus LB pax came and i went to MB and Observed tht we went at 105/110 till ED (noticed till Sulur road) and i slept....i awake at ED came at PF1..After 15mins halt Xed Kerla exp with WAP4 and we departed also Xed MYS TN with WDP4D at ED outer....Went at 100 on ED TPJ (Noticed till Chavidipalayam) and i slept
Due to Over tiredness i woke up at TPJ instead of KRR thus missing some single line Xings...arrived at PF2 at 6.05 am....RF was with RPM WAP7 30417 at PF1 and its loco is decoupled...GOC WDP4D 40467 was at PF3 with TPJ MV pass...Mahal with ED alco at PF4...Pallavan arrived at PF5 with GOC WDP4D 4044X we departed after 30min halt and and Spotted ED WAP4 22249 with TPJ ED Pass at PF1A... Curving out of TPJ spotted Loco actions Decoupled WDP4D going aside and RPM WAP7 30419 moving towards PF5 to be Coupled with Pallavan....went at 40 till GOC and Curved at 50 and xed TJ TPJ and LLI TPJ demus simultaneously...acclerated till 80 also Observed that GOCB to TJ byepass not electrified...passed Cauvery River at 60 surprisingly entered SRGM Main line at 20Kmph... Observed Massive crowd waiting fr pallavn both reserved and UR.....then we accelerated at kollidam river...entered at 40
Exited at 90 frm BXS to VLDE went at 80...VLDE 100 starts till KKPM then passed at 90 at KKPM outer till Kallagam went at 40 also inbetwen saw a construction of new LC from Kallagam to Silakudi went at 75... Finally had 100 action before arriving ALU,as usual entered at 20Kmph.....At ALU Observed massive crowd waiting for Pallavan exp both Reserved and UR.....So delay of 1hr 20mina is due to PGT CBE Trolling remaining actions before ED especially b4 PGT made me this trip as a unforgettable one.....Thanks for spending your time to read this!!!
