Two trains, the Ahmedabad Tiruchirapalli Special Fare Express led by a BZA WAP 4 locomotive and the Tirupati Pamani Express, crossed paths at Vellore Cantonment.

SR made a smart move! Just as we wanted, now ADI TPJ is taking a detour through VM, TNM, KPD, TRT, RU for another 4 months (WR extended this special up to Dec end). It's a dope weekend train, giving us connectivity to GTL, KLBG, RC, SUR and a much-needed quick Mumbai link. Besides the usual Mumbai and AP crowd, what got me surprised is the support from ADI, ST to TNM. It's a mix of pilgrims and locals from TNM. Good to see SR is focusing on the VM-TNM-KPD route.

Apart from the Usual Mumbai and AP Patronage, What surprised me is the patronage from ADI, ST to TNM. It is a combination of both Pilgrims and TNM people living in those areas. Glad to see SR is trying to be right towards the VM- TNM-KPD line.

Mujhe lagta hai TNM aur KPD is train ke patronage loss ko compensate karne ke liye zyada hai MS se. Bus, can't wait ke yeh train TNM aur KPD ke beech se permanently chale jab Pamban open hojata hai! Shortest Mumbai connection toh mil hi jayega, acha hoga TN Mumbai walon ke liye saath hi KA aur AP ke pilgrims ke liye bhi. GTL, KLBG, SOLAPUR tak ab pehli baar hai direct connectivity, kaafi zaroori tha yeh. Jyadatar pilgrims jo TNM ja rahe hain woh AP/TL, KA, South MH ke log hain. Tum kya sochte ho?
