I was planning to take this train from banihal to Srinagar.
But acc to ntes there is no update about these trains.
Also Is it feasible to take a bus ride from jammutawi to banihal and then train to Srinagar?

There is a Road-Rail Bridge concept in Jat-Srinagar route...for that there will bea daily bus @8:45 from Udhampur to Banihal which will drop you @banihal by 2PM. from there you will have Demus plyign to Srinagar.
Someone from udhampur/Jat can shed some more light on this topic on where we get tickets for this concept and where to buy.

Options are Shared Taxi/van
Charges 400 per pax in taxi & 300-350 in Van. They will drop u at Banihal station itself.
U can also use train upto Udhampur n then Van/Taxi to Banihal. Don't go upto katra by train n switch that's circuitous.

Bhai, there is some Road-Bridge agreement between Railways and JKRTC ri8 ?
for the passengers reaching Udhamput by Utar Sampark Kranti will have a connecting bus from Udhampur to banihal which drops you for the next connecting train to Srinagar ?

U can book upto Srinagar in Uttar samparkranthi. Bus fare also included. This has to done at PRS. But there are many buses n share taxis are Avbl
