This is all because of having 5 sub-terminals at BNC namely 1A,1B,1C,1D,1E and I've seen all MEMUs and DEMUs standing over there... so great news.....👍👍👍
Unless they have definite frequency of 60 mins in 3 directions of terminals from 1. Benguluru Cantt for CBD, Indiranagara and Koramangala, 2 Whitefield for KR Pura ORR Silk Board 3. Kengeri via Central Yesvantpur to cover west Bengaluru they will not be takers for Airport from 400 to 2100. Even a 400 dep train a traveller can catch a flight from 630-700 while deps start from 500 and arrivals upto 2300.
Makes absolute sense... infact now some trains from SBC towards any part like BWT, JTJ, DMM, WFD, Marikuppam can start from BNC.... need not rely from SBC.... I repeat "some" and not all MEMU trains....
Earlier initiatives for airport Trains were half hearted. Punctuality of such trains was in single digits. Now, we don't know what is going to happen.
Seems there is pressure on railways to mess up train running by Ola/ Uber and BMTC.
Unless there is hourly schedule from Majestic/ BNC/ KJM, this effort will be a flop.
