but the reality is the same....most of the times for this GHY bound trains ... there wont be any coach indication boards on the coaches itself... so even if you are standing in front of your coach..you don't know what is the coach number..
Yes. Exactly an year back, I spotted this at RJY, where AC coaches were sandwiched between S2 and S3. B1 b2 a1 b3 b4 a2 b5 b6 b7 was AC coaches composition. Half of the coaches were marked with chalk, few of them had A4 sheets marked with stencil pasted on coaches and remaining didn't had any kind of indicator at all.
It's a trademark for this train. The rakes do not change CC, but they do have a very weird coaching order. I traveled by this train a couple of times between NJP and BNC, and on both occasions, there were no boards on the coaches ( only paper indications or chalk indications) and the coach order was very counter-intuitive. With a few 2A coaches sandwiched out of order between 3A coaches and some 2A coaches at the ends of the rake. It is probably NFR's way of saying that only the ones able to identify their coach are worthy of traveling on this. :P :P
Yes. I have seen sairam parlour and rail dhaba in Aug/sep on pf 1 facing auto stand on the same ptemises where ambica used to be there. I am in a hurry to catch the train so couldn't observe fully. So I enquired with staff on pf8 they replied both platforms yesterday morning.
