first thing no intercity shud get lhb .. coz its a loss of general passengers .. the eogs r completely useless.. better to run it om icf that wud hav more space to accomodate.. nd after lhbification of other longer daily running trains then one shud think abt intercities
But compared to normal Sleeper trains, impact of reduction in UR coaches is lesser in intercity trains, due to larger seating capacity of LHB coaches (especially 2S type coaches) and the usually higher number of UR coaches in ICE trains. Added to that, LHB will be a safer option for ICE's as these trains usually run with dense crush loads.
One & Only LHB rake train having one EOG only. This should be implemented in all day time LHB trains like Taj Express bcoz if the EOG fails (negligible possibility) then in that train's passenger wouldn't have that much trouble.
