Bro..do u think this will work out for railways.. because since the distance between mys SBC is less ppl still prefer travel in 2S class. But by introducing this probably ppl travelin in Volvo buses might travel in this since fare is less compared to it
There is enough rush between Mysore and Bangalore. Any new train will be patronized well. If I am not wrong, KSRTC Non A/C express fare for Mysore is around 170Rs. At 260Rs for A/C this is quite an attractive option for most people. Also, even if it doesn't work out, Railways have nothing to lose. They are just arranging for people to book these berths instead of just letting the train continue with empty berths between SBC-MYS. It's a win-win situation for both the passengers and the railways.
Zahaib, expecting charging points in each bay for Kaveri is over-expectation of the highest order :) It will among the bottom 10 trains as far as better facilities are concerned. Try taking 12603/04/22649/50 and your experience will be even worse as you will see 15+ year old coaches with torn berths etc.
