Thats y they made UBL as HQ of SWR thinking of future growth of SBC & MYS and also both are geographically located in such a place where they cant help to grow other Karnataka places as running all trains outside KA right after serving MYS,SBC,bangarpet,yelhanka.Even IRI members do imaginary trains from MYS to other state cities most form Outside KA route for Electrified and speed routes compared to Slow un electrified routes of KA..Hope in future Other parts of KA also get developed wiht better fast train connectivity trains. SWR have rakes and coaches to run trains to inter state cities but dont have rakes to serve Karnataka cities.

Boss, I do hope that you do understand that those super low advertised fares are actually tiered and there are only very very few seats per flight that are offered at that price. Its how the aviation market performs today (worldwide). On a daily basis even during non-peak season the average ticket price between IXR and DEL hovers around Rs 4200-4500 Per Per Seat One Way. That itself is more than double of Rajdhani Fares. Every single day about 30% of each flight's one way tickets are sold for Rs 6-7000 too per seat for that route which currently is served by 13-14 daily services.

Last week i took Chennai to Pune with 1800 rs. Most of the seats they are giving for less fare only. I am a regular traveler of Airlines dude. Except Air india, Jet airways all airlines offers at almost 2A fare if u book 2 week before. Festivals, weekends little bit more.
