main Bottle neck is at Visakhapatnam Outer. GPT to VSKP outer track fit for 80 kmph. At GPT where HWH,MAS line connected at that connection MPS 30 kmph. If these two eliminated then Huge tome can be saved. Railways has enough place to lay another 2-3 tracks here but neglected
May be a TSR for some time. Its 30 kmph at crossing as i my self there at that location when working going on last time. VSKP outer means Kancharapalem bridge only. From there 2 tracks suddenly becomes 8. Needs more tracks there else 2 tracks via coaching complex can directly join at GPT as already land is there.
even if we get third and fourth line, the MPS wont be changed much as there are lot of switching of tracks to be done to go in and out of PF's. and 15-20kmph is the max you find in any big junctions ...so on that front cant change much
We can't take it fully granted the timings are not updated after completing the journey even though they are late by 10-15 mins in final leg. Few days back checked the timings of the same train it completed RJY vskp in 2hrs 40 mins overtaking chennai vskp exp which took normal time of 3hrs 20 mins. Last week godavari with numerous stops overtaking ratnachal with lesser stops.
