Reservation suspended for the train after Oct 2nd. All RSA trains reservation are also suspended. Likely to see some changes in TT but since RSA reservation is also suspended, its likely to still have RSA after LHBfication. Will the departure change to morning 06 AM from Charlapalli ? Have to wait and watch.....

One thing is for sure. SR is lazy and waste zone. Especially MAS and TVC , they don't want to maintain no train but keep their zones lol and I say this as SR railfan lol

Tirunelveli was never a part of TVC division, though.

Southern Kerala was a part of the MDU division and Trivandrum was the final terminus on the TSI-QLN-TVC MG line.

out of MDU division after the QLN-ERS lines were laid and TVC-NCJ-TEN lines were added that allowed it to have the sufficient track length for a new division.

The TEN-CAPE line was laid in BG while other lines to Tirunelveli were still MG.

PGT and TVC divisions comprised of completely BG lines. The TSI-QLN MG lines were retained by MDU division and the same arrangement persists to date.

Oh got it, I thought earlier TEN station used to be with TVC div and they moved away , Either way , Kanyakumari, NCJ, NCT all needs to go with MDU division.

Earlier CBE, MTP used to be PGT Div and now I am glad it got moved out of PGT and with SA div or CBE would have been a dumping yard station like CAPE.

CAPE being the final railhead is bound to be dumped with trains from above anyway, on the flipside it will not lose trains through extensions.

Problem was the choice of trains from Kerala's side. CAPE would not be complaining if Netravati or Mangala Lakshadweep were extended from Kerala's side instead of Island, Jayanti Janata, Gurudev, Vivek all of which go east of Shoranur when a shorter route by almost 200 km between Nagercoil and Salem exists.

Sabari was also once proposed to be extended to CAPE, but rescinded after opposition.

Presently only Parasuram is the daily train running west of SRR from NCJ.

SR seems unable to build additional coaching depots in Kerala (apart from Kochuveli) to handle additional trains, so invariably NCJ, MAQ, TEN, CBE all have to compensate some way or the other, no matter which division they fall under.

For CAPE, the situation looks better after NJT bypass, double lines and additional platforms coming up at NCJ. Operation issues will come down and TVC division will hopefully start to receive more trains from Tamil Nadu.

TVC-NJT-TEN line is not a logistical nightmare like POY or MAQ which are sandwiched between 3 divisions/zones.

Nemom works have started as TVCs 3rd terminal.So after the terminal works,Parasu and other weeklies can be terminated there.
