Actually it is regarding Sapt Kranti SF Exp (12558) i travel in that train and found that so many time (98%) Train reached Moradabad before time (some time waiting clearance at Outer) and gorakhpur also reached before time (some time waiting clearance at Outer) but in spite of train speed up train speed restrict and as per new time table train taking 5 mints more time than old time. It is very unfortunate We are looking forward to increase speed of the train but new time table show the wrong direction. We need to think about that, ANVT-LJN section is fit for 110 KMPH speed but SK SF Express taking 7.50 Mnts. If we increase our efficiency travel time would be maximum 6 Hrs (480 KM/110 = 4.4 Hrs + 10 mnts for MB halt + 40Mnts for other delay =5.3 HRS). I think stoppage time also be decrease by Max 5 mints to any major station (like MB,LJN,GKP) if loco not changed their. It is increase Average speed of the train and Platform get cleared in 5 mints Other train would not waiting at outer of such station. I think Speed up not only to take new technology from outside India and then we speed up the train.We can speed up train with better management efficiency. In Japan, Trains average speed is more than 90 KMPH (if speed is 130 KMPH and stoppage are 13 or more). We have so many train list which has less stop and speed permitted at 130 KMPH like Purushottam SF Express, Mahabodhi SF Exp etc. but average speed of such train is not more than 60-65 KMPH. It shows our miss management and inefficiency of railway. Current Status : CASE CLOSED Date of Action : 10 Aug 2015 Details : Speeding up of trains is a constant endeavour and continuous process on Indian Railways and is dependent on constant optimization of the investments made by Railways in modernization of technology, high powered locos, modern coaches (LHB, air brake, CBC) and better tracks.
