PM's constituency train, and SG bro's favourite train ( Admin of IRI Mr. SG Prasad from MAS) at NDLS. Notice the LS3 coaches having MPS of 105 kmph and 130 kmph variable tracks specifications and speed
First elaborate,whts the meaning, 130 and 105 both are printed,so were the coaches capable of 130 earlier and then degraded to 105, or whts these stands for!,, And if railway have restricted Coaches to 105 then 110 can be done? With these coaches ,is it safe?! Or this train can fulfill its average requirement even running below 105?! ,.
These are speed limits for different track construction/maintenance standards. In the pic, you can see beside the '130' number, that the track maintenance standard is mentioned as 'C & M I Vol I'. 'C & M I Vol I' standards are basically civil and mechanical engineering standards that are to be followed during track laying and maintenance, if the route has to support high speeds trains. This is informally called the 'Rajdhani standard' of tracks. These markings mean that, on tracks constructed and maintained to Rajdhani standards ( or C & M I Vol I standards to be technical), the coach can be run at an MPS of 130 kmph. lesser standards ( like branch lines and non-important routes), the coach can me run at an MPS of 105 kmph only.
RDSO ki report ka number hai C&M Vol. 1 Jisme certain benchmarks mention hai track maintenance ke. Agar kisi route ki track us benchmark ko follow karti hai to waha ye coaches 130 km/hr pe chalegi or jaha nahi hai waha coach ka operational speed 105 hoga.

Each and every day in its run 12260 is trolled behind which leads to massive delay in arrival at sdah. 12260 is unable to ot this train upto ALD also. After routes bifercates 12260 enters Bermuda triangle and delay adds on. Once in ECR GC route it unleashes it's real class but by that time everything is over
There are some trains that do exceptionally well in their respective zones but are highly devalued in NCR. And why not, the decentralization and the excuse of congestion is a magic wand with which NCR awards selected trains and curses for others. Yuva, PSK, and a new addition, Ranchi Garib Rath along with other Garib raths are the important trains of their zones that are tormented in NCR like anything.
Also, NHLN AC Express. I was checking some data of some trains and the picture of whole of NCR doesnot look good. If you look at run of trains in the BPL route, you will see that as Delhi bound trains like MAS-NZM Garib Rath, Karnataka SK, MAS Duronto, GT Express enter NCR after crossing Bina, the delay of these trains increase substantially. With all data, this can be concluded that there is an equal if not more, problem in the whole management of North Central Railways be it along the Grand Chord or the Madras-Delhi line. many problems of delays along the grand chord and the MAS-NDLS line can be solved if the system and management and internal operations are changed.
