Extention upto Nandyal is ok with timings arrival 2030. In Return it should start at 300 or can delay to 400 by changing GNT dep to 900 Vskp arrival by 1700. But timings are parallel to Vijayawada Hubli express so SCR may deny. Don't know whether Vskp will take PM as it requires pitline allocation for 2 days out of 4 days.

Simhadri express from Visakhapatnam to Guntur is slowed down by 30 mins in New TT. As the train is not being cancelled repeatedly couldn't notice the change in timing. Checked for punctuality on 2nd April and noticed the arrival at Vijayawada is 1420 earlier 1350 and it used to run on time. There is no change upto Eluru. Have given uncessary overtake of Swarna Jayanti express. When there is enough of slack in Eluru Vijayawada why to give 1.5hr to Guntur? Could have given just 1hr.

Simhadri express first Run after 2months of cancellation. The train took 1hr 06mins with 2 stoppages from Vijayawada to Eluru section in which works are being taken from past 10 months as claimed by VJA division. The train is cancelled from June 16th till March 31st. It was run for 10 days during dussera and Sankranti seasons after many requests and criticism about continous cancellation. The train carries 3000+ travellers in its total run and every station min 100 get in and get down while big stations contribute a footfall of 200 travellers. In Railway terms the occupancy will be 150-180% with only 60-70% in the coach at any point of time which is the beauty of this train. Reached Vskp.at 1640 40 mins delay taking 7hrs 10mins from Vja which is the usual time. As Simhadri and Guntur Rayagada express are cancelled for long Janmabhoomi and Ratnachal bore the extra...

Is 17239/Simhadri Express cancelled for JCO 23/03/2024?
If so then please help by providing other options to travel from BZA to VSKP after 8:30 am (except VB) so as to reach VSKP by early evening. Thanks in advance!

Prefer Ratnachal Express there is no other alternative. Konark express is there but getting confirmed reservation is difficult as it will be WL.

Visakhapatnam Guntur Simhadri booking is open from Tomorrow and even now the booking is showing WL and availability but Guntur Vskp Simhadri is cancelled for today and status of booking shows canceled for this week. So SCR has not given communication to ECOR till now.

Have a look. The cancellation is never ending process don't rely on these trains. If you have cnf accommodation in other trains better to book in those.

Because of these cancellations there's huge rush in Ratnachal and Janmabhoomi express for confirmed ticket u need to book a week in advance both in GS and and AC chair car. After Uday restored from Jan 28th people atleast have an option in ACC. For Janmabhoomi they are 200 seats in Tatkal another 200 in premium tatkal and all are being booked everyday and current availability is almost nil even in weekdays. It has 11 coaches or 1300 seats.
