Yes SCR is better in terms of infrastructure and facilities...but only in Telangana and AP. SCR is completely neglecting NED division. SCR treat NED division as servant of TL/AP. Trains are run as per the demand and convenience of these two states only. poor connectivity with rest of the country. poor funds allocation. The main and largest source of income for NED division is Aurangabad, which is completed neglected. But SCR behaves as if Aurangabad does not exists. SCR purposefully delaying the work of pit-line at Aurangabad, doubling of tracks etc. in the division. SCR is diseased with Acute Shirdi Obsession Syndrom (ASOS). Even though CR is not good as SCR, still it will be better to merge NED in CR.

NED-BKN via AWB is long pending demand. Last time started NED-BKN via AK was meant to go via AWB but but some politics happened and AWB lost the train. When ran as a special via AWB, 80% paxs were from AWB.
SCR is misguiding us totally. Few months SCR as well as CR comes with Press Release that 17613/14 NED-PUNE Tri-Weekly Express booking disabled from 1.08.2016, since they are planning to extend upto PNVL, also revising time-table of the train and makes it daily. When Aurangabad people starts opposing this decision, then they told UNOFFICIALLY that they are planning to extend 17063/64 Ajanta Exp to PNVL since it remain idle at MMR for 15 hours. What happens further... nothing.. After few days, 17613/14 booking enabled after few days. Frequently members of this committee are misguided. Our MP's are used to silent on such kind of issue. Now, people also used to travel in overcrowded trains. AC Classes are running full. Sleeper class tickets filled very fast. Very Rarely you may get up-gradation to AC Class. Sleeper class are similar to General. God knows for how many years this situation will be.. :(
