Do you think all NZM bound rajdhanis, gatimaan, upcoming tejas & other double decker etc. should originate from NDLS? If we change the terminal of some low priority trains like intercity expresses, magadh etc. to NZM/ANVT/DEE. I know it's difficult to implement but NDLS will become the hub for rajdhani & other high priority trains. Like already all delhi bound shatabdi trains originates at NDLS. Share your views on this.

Can be done if passing trains will skip NDLS & stop at NZM or divert via DSJ
Chalo gatimaan ko rehne do lekin rajdhani to chal hi sakti h. Jese KGM shatabdi ko ANVT se NDLS kiya tha wese in 6 rajdhanis ka terminus NZM se NDLS kr sakte h. NDLS se to almost saari shatabdi ki to departure timing subah 6 se 7 hoti h lekin rajdhani to alag alag time pe nikalti h.
Sir WCR se pucho LHB ki kadar unko samajh aayegi, NR ko LHB ki kadar nhi h. me aapko wahi keh raha tha ki MUM RAJ HWH RAJ ki maintenance dekho aur NR bound Raj ki dekho farak samajh jaoge. LHB to NZM k paas bhi h but MAS SEC GOA RAJ ki maintenance tip taap h ekdum

few days back or you can say few month back 12425-Jammu rajdhani was stopped in somewhere in Haryana before Ludhiana. It was a chain pulling. when guards of the train and few crew member came to down to know the reason. There were few robber were already hidden near tracks and started throwing stones on them. some how one of the guard manage to fix the break pressure and train was moved successfully. but when train reached at Ludhiana few passengers traveling in train had reported about missing their belonging goods. this train had to stooped at Ludhiana for more then 1hr due to this incident.
It doesn't stop people from spitting on trains. Better if they put images of gods in coaches then they may stop spitting :P Apart from joke I like your livery since rajdhani runs on almost every part of India tricoloured livery will be like heritage train of India.
Sir it is not necessary that always rajdhani like trains will get robbed. Its railways responsibility that RPF should be present in trains specially in overnight trains. I've heard similar incidents in other trains that runs in old ICF coaches. Similar incident also happened in kerala sampark kranti twice near BRC. Throwing stones to the trains is common in faridabad area. Once I was travelling in TVC rajdhani some kids were threw stones to my train in somewhere between TKD & FDB & it broke the windows. Sadly only solution to this problem is fencing but I don't think that would happen in near future.

SF train is an ever green option because (1) All classes of accommodation i.e. AC, non AC reserved/ general accommodation are available, it serves people of all the economic strata from rich to poor. (2) Maximum patronage is guaranteed due to availability of all classes of accomodation. Chances of failure is minimum, very rarely SF trains run empty where as others do run empty in many cases.. Maximum numbers of passengers can be accommodated. All 24 coaches carry passengers where as in rest of the options, 2 generator cars are used, which add to train load in addition generating noise and polluting fumes. (4) AC SF express is bad for IR as two generator cars cause loss of revenue and also no extra fare is collected by IR in lieu of that. In spite of being fully ac rake with 130kmph+ potential they operate like SF train only. ACSF trains normally run at sub-optimal load i.e. with lesser number of coaches than maximum permitted (24ICF/22LHB) and operate like SF trains only by way of 110kmph operating speed, similar priority and avg. speed. It would be better if AC SF trains could be made full length by adding more sleeper coaches to serve more passengers and give more revenues to IR without creating additional time slot in the saturated IR tracks. (5) Raj/Shat/Dur/Hums/Tejs at least give 20% extra base-fare to IR and give faster speed/ journey time to passengers are at least better than AC SF trains. (6) GR are good in the sense that GR ACIIIE berths are about 2-3% cheaper than ACIII, but the service is degraded by 12.5% by increasing the berths from 64 to 72. Even this extra revenue to IR is of no use which is frittered away due to costs involved in generator cars. For 24 side berth paxs the journey of GR is hell, while the rest 48 get a benefit by way of discount of 2-3 %. The disadvantage of generator coaches is already there. Most of the GRs are running with sub-optimal loads, give avg. speed of SF trains only, except a few GRs like MUM, MAS, etc,so no better than SF expresses. (7) SF expresses carry people of all classes and a is a true representive of Indian society, and integrate the people of all economic strata ,where as other premium trains separate the elite from the common masses.
Guys...some major confusion here. 1. If this is TVC Rajdhani, it cannot pass through Shindavne Ghats at all (unless there is a diversion). The Ghat is on Pune Miraj Section and 12431 dosenot travel on this section. 2. The picture has a title 12134. This is not the number of TVC Rajdhani. If we assume that the number is correct, then the train with 12134 number is not a fully AC train. So the number is wrong. 3.... more...
Kindly see the picture carefully. The right side is all hilly area and the left side is plain grounds and cannot see any hill till distances. If we assume that the train is TVC Rajdhani, then there is remote possibility that it travels in a area which is not hilly on both sides in Maharashtra. Cuz the route from Madgaon to Panvel (i.e. Konkan) is a complete hilly area. 4. If this is Shindavne Ghat, then there is no scheduled regular fully AC train travelling on this route. 4. So the possibility left is, if this is 12431, then this is not Shindavne Ghat and this pic is not taken in maharashtra, or 12134 is diverted via Miraj Pune due to some reason and the photographer is extreemly lucky to the core that he could take a pic of this rarest scene.
