As part of the development of Orvakal Mega Industrial Hub..the AP govt requested for the construction of new lines between 1. Dupadu - B.Cement Nagar 47kms in first phaseand 'Y' junction line proposal near B.Cement Nagar towards Nandyal & Betamcherla. Becz of this 50kms will reduce between NDL - KRNT. Also there will be proposal to extend the Tungabhadra exp upto NDL2. Panyam (Kouluru) - Madduru 10kms in second phase. If both lines completes this will be another line towards TPTY, chennai.3. Also there is proposal of new Nandyal rly stn construction near Santha Ram Medical College.
