The Railway has recently made the Tatanagar-Ernakulam Bi-Weekly Express a daily service due to high demand on the Ernakulam-Palakkad-Coimbatore route, particularly for a morning train. Sources suggest that the extension of the Coimbatore-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express is a temporary solution while the Railway considers the Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express proposal. Isse Ernakulam se Bengaluru aur Coimbatore, dono jaane wale commuters ko faida hoga. Railway ne hal hi mein Tatanagar-Ernakulam Bi-Weekly Express ko daily service bana diya hai, kyuki Ernakulam-Palakkad-Coimbatore route pe bahut zyada demand hai, khaas karke subah ki train ke liye. Sources ne bataya hai ki Coimbatore-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express ko Ernakulam tak extend karna Ernakulam se train commuters ke liye temporary relief hoga, jabtak ki Railway Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express ke proposal par sochta hai. They're planning to extend CBE BNC VB till ERS... so in a way not ruining that train but yes for Uday it would be a problem... but am wondering why they wish to start very early morning at 5 am (considering that they're planning to extend till ERS)... isn't that quite tough for ppl to come at 5 am and board that train to BNC??? I'd prefer to depart at 6 am and reach BNC by 2:30 PM....

I feel, the recent rescheduling is helping ERS in some way to consider about extension and it is a good measure rather than introducing one more VB in the same section. This will not ruin UDAY further I think. The damage was already done by VB and in this case, same VB is getting extended.

The weekly train 18111 from Tatanagar to Yesvantpur will have an additional coach added on Thursday due to heavy passenger demand. new train that will run between Bhubaneswar and New Delhi via Keonjhar and Chaibasa. The decision came after the MLA wrote to the minister on November 8, 2023. The Railway Minister responded on February 17, 2024, confirming the launch of the new train. The train's exact route and timings are yet to be confirmed. Meanwhile, the railway is conducting pre-NI and NI work for the third line between Parvatipuram, Gumada, Kuneru, and J咪dipeta stations in the Waltair Railway division from February 28 to March 5. Consequently, two trains passing through the Chakradharpur railway division will be rerouted, and one train will be rescheduled by 2 hours. The Jalianwala Bagh Express departing from Tatanagar in the Chakradharpur railway division will have a stopover at Sarsawa railway station on the Northern Railway for three days from March 8 to 10. This stopover will be for one minute. The train number 18103 Tatanagar-Amritsar Jalianwala Bagh Express will have a stopover at Sarsawa station from March 8 to 10. Train number 18189 Tata Ernakulam Express departing from Tatanagar on February 29 and March 3 will take an alternate route via Tata, Chaibasa, Dangwapasi, Jarulig, Palasa, and Vijayanagaram to reach Ernakulam. This train will be canceled between Chakradharpur, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Titlagarh, and Raigarh stations on February 29 and March 3. Train number 18190 Ernakulam Tata Express departing from Ernakulam station on February 28 and March 3 will take an alternate route via Vijayanagaram, Palasa, Jarulig, Dangwapasi, and Chaibasa to reach Tata station. This train will be canceled between Jharsuguda, Rourkela, and Chakradharpur stations on March 1 and March 5. The train reaches the Chakradharpur railway division two days after leaving Ernakulam. Train number 08190 Ernakulam Tata Special Train, departing from Ernakulam station on February 29, will leave for Tatanagar at 09:15 am on February 29, two hours late from its original scheduled departure time of 07:15 am.
