Help desks have been set up at Bilaspur, Raigarh, Brajrajnagar, Champa, and Kharsaiya for the convenience of passengers. that while some trains had temporary halts during the Shravani Mela in the month of Sawan, to accommodate devotees, five specific train pairs, including the Ernakulam Express (18189 Up/18190 Down), Kalinga Utkal Express (18477 Up/18478 Down), Shalimar LTT Express (18030 Up/18029 Down), Ahmedabad Superfast Express (12834 Up/12833 Down), and Howrah CSTM Express (12870 Up/12869 Down), were not being given stopovers despite previously having them. The MP requested the DRM to consider the issue and grant stopovers for these trains immediately. The request came after members of the Seva Samiti expressed concerns to the MP about the lack of stopovers for several important trains at the Mahadevshal Temple station during the Shravani Mela inauguration on Sunday.
