for travelers from Sahibganj, Bhagalpur, and Jamalpur to Delhi, as it is one of the few daily trains on this route. While the train typically runs on time on the upward journey, the recent extension has led to frequent delays. The Farakka Express operates with two different train numbers in both the upward and downward directions. Train number 13413 travels from Sultanpur to Bathinda three days a week, while train number 13414 operates in the opposite direction for three days. Similarly, train number 13483 travels from Ayodhya to Bathinda four days a week, and train number 13484 operates in the opposite direction for four days. The transfer of the train to the Katihar Railway Division may lead to a change in the train numbers. The Farakka Express is the only daily train connecting Sahibganj, Bhagalpur, and Jamalpur to Varanasi, Lucknow, Delhi, and Bathinda, making it a popular choice for passengers from these regions.

Farakka Express, pehle Malda Railway Division ke neeche chalti thi, ab Katihar Railway Division ke neeche chali gayi hai. Ab ye Balurghat station se chalta hai, aur iske extension se Bihar ke passengers ko bahut pareshani ho rahi hai, khass kar ticket milna bahut mushkil ho gaya hai aur upward journey...

of water on trains like the 13414 Farakka Express and 12430 AC Express. Train delays were attributed to the ongoing farmers' protest in Punjab, affecting trains like the 15098 Jammu Tawi-Bhagalpur Express, which was delayed by 36 hours. These delays and disruptions are causing considerable inconvenience to passengers and raising concerns about the effectiveness of the Indian Railways' customer support services. The lack of timely and accurate information on delays through the Rail Madad app and 139 helpline adds to the frustration.

India mein lambi doori ki trains mein travel karne wale passengers ko bahut pareshani ho rahi hai. Trains kafi late chal rahi hai, AC thik se kam nahin kar raha hai, aur paani bhi khatam ho raha hai. Bahut se passengers ne AC ki shikayat ki, jaise ki 12237 Begam...

who had booked a ticket in the third AC of the Amarnath Express from Lucknow, canceled his ticket after learning about the train's 20-hour delay. Other trains on the route, including the Ganga Satluj Express (13308), Mumbai-Gorakhpur Express (12598), Lohit Express (15652), Kamakhya Gandhidham Express (15668), Kolkata Express (13152), Farakka Express (13483), Amritsar Kolkata Express (12358), Darbhanga Delhi Special (04067), Malda Town Patna Special (03415), and Patna Sabarmati Special (09406), are also running behind schedule by varying hours, ranging from three to fourteen hours. Passengers are facing difficulties due to inaccurate information provided by railway apps and helplines. The National Train Inquiry System (NTES) is not providing up-to-date information, and the 139 helpline is not offering any assistance. A passenger, Najita, waiting for the Lucknow Prayagraj Passenger at Charbagh station, found that the NTES showed the train's location at Bachhrawan, four stations ahead of its actual location.
